1. Who we are

Product Space AB is a company registered in Sweden, with its registered address at Tegnérgatan 37, 111 61 Stockholm, Sweden. You can reach us at backbone-legal@productspace.se.

2. The Service

Backbone is a business-to-business tool that lets organisations manage projects, time tracking, resource planning, expenses, sales, and leave. Features available to your account depend on which modules your organisation has enabled and your role within it.

3. Accounts and organisations

• An organisation is created by an admin, who invites other users. You must use accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Your organisation’s admin controls which modules are enabled and what data is visible to which roles within the organisation.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to another organisation’s data or to the Service’s infrastructure;
• reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted in a separate written agreement;
• upload content that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable law.

5. Your data

You and your organisation retain ownership of the data you enter into the Service (“Customer Data”). We process Customer Data only to provide and support the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to submit any Customer Data you upload, including personal data of your employees, contacts, and clients.

6. Fees and payment

Paid plans, if applicable, are governed by the order form or subscription agreement signed with your organisation. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated in your agreement.

7. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance and will aim to give reasonable notice for changes that materially affect availability.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Product Space AB and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets except as needed to use the Service.

9. Termination

Your organisation’s admin may close the organisation account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are materially breached, with notice where practicable. On termination, we will make Customer Data available for export for a reasonable period, then delete it in line with our data retention practices.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Product Space AB is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, unless a separate written agreement between Product Space AB and your organisation states otherwise.
